Our Charity

Our Charity is run entirely by volunteers and employs no one, nor do we pay for anyone to do our work, which means every penny goes directly to the fund. We keep our outlay to the basic essentials, so that the maximum amount goes to purchase equipment for breast cancer patients. Our committee members fund most of their own ‘out of pocket’ expenses themselves. This again is a big saving, on telephone calls, postage, etc. As a small charity we know where every penny goes ~ and we aim to make it count. We are grateful for the help and support we have received from everyone.

Badges

Our charity has been established 16 years and to celebrate the occasion we have added a little sparkle to the stem of our lapel badge. The badge features our charity logo, and the Pink Rose Bud with the Pink Ribbon cutting through the stem - to echo our motto ‘Nipping Cancer in the Bud’.

The bud is based on the original lotus design which denotes continuous life.
